自己動手修復瓷磚 DIY Bathroom Floor Tile Repair

翻新家居是一件令人興奮的事，但過程中不免會出現問題。最近翻新浴室，工人在拆除並重新安裝地板瓷磚時，把瓷磚弄出了幾個缺口。這些損壞非常顯眼，令整個新裝修的浴室看起來不太美觀。工人說他無法修復這些缺口，於是我決定自己動手解決這個問題。

Renovating a bathroom is exciting, but it doesn’t always go smoothly. During my recent project, the floor tiles got chipped when a workman had to remove and reattach them. The damage was pretty noticeable, making the rest of the newly renovated bathroom look less impressive. The workman said he couldn’t fix it, so I decided to take the matter into my own hands.

After some online searching, I found a tile repair kit that promised to fill and paint over the chips, blending them with the original tile colour. This seemed like the perfect fix!

The tile repair kit was easy to use. It comes in the form of a paste, and you mix pastes of different colours to form one that matches the floor tiles. My job was relatively easy as my tiles have marbled colour, so I don’t need to get a perfect blend. I soon got a close match and applied the mixture on the chips after cleaning and drying the chips. Then I gave the whole thing a final touch by wiping off any excess residue and waited for everything to dry.

The transformation was amazing. The chips are barely noticeable now, and the floor has restored its beauty. The repair kit was a lifesaver, and doing it myself saved money and gave me a great sense of accomplishment. I really love DIY-ing!
