舊廚具升級再造 Upcycling Old Pots and Pans
家裏有幾個舊的易潔鑊、易潔鍋，已經不能用作煮食，但如果就此丟棄太浪費了，於是我通通拿到花園去。最初我將他們用來放泥、放雜物等，最近更想到可以有其他更新穎的用途呢！
There are several retired non-stick pans and pots in the house. It is too wasteful to throw them away. So I brought them all to the garden. At first, I used them for holding soil and miscellaneous items, but recently, I found a few other creative uses for them!
花盆底盤 Saucer for Plant Pot
花園需要不少底盤，與其動輒出外購買，不如好好善用這個舊煎鍋吧！製作毫不複雜，只需拆掉螺絲拿走手柄即可。
The garden needs plenty of saucers for plant pots. Instead of buying new ones, why not make good use of this old frying pan? Making it couldn’t be any easier – simply remove the handle by taking away its screw.
花盆 Plant Pot
這個更簡單，直接用舊湯煲來做花盆。在底部打幾個洞，就可以用來種植盆栽。
This is even simpler; just use an old stock pot as a planter. Make a few holes in the bottom, and it’s ready for planting.
小池塘踏腳石 Steps for Mini-pond
早前在花園設置了一個小池塘，用來引入野生生態。由於用來做池塘的花盆比較高身，需要為它設置一條通道，好使青蛙能跳得進去。我用另一個舊湯煲、幾塊磚頭、一些鵝卵石，搭建了這條通道。
A while ago, I set up a mini-pond to introduce wildlife into my garden. Since the planter used for making the pond is relatively tall, a pathway needs to be created for frogs to hop in. I used another stock pot, some bricks and a few cobbles to construct the steps.
