為日常物件製造秩序感 Creating Visual Calm in Everyday Objects
談到家居整理，常見的說法往往指向「斷捨離」、「清空」、「極簡」。我卻認為整理未必需要走向嚴苛或極端，而是在保留日常所需的前提下，讓物件呈現出一種安靜、有秩序的狀態。以下分享三個簡單而普遍適用的方法。
Discussions around home organisation often lean towards ideas of decluttering, clearing out or minimalism. However, I have found that order does not need to be austere. Rather, it can be achieved by allowing everyday objects to exist in a calm, well-considered arrangement. Below are three simple and widely applicable examples.
1. 讓調味料瓶躲起來 Letting Seasoning Bottles Stay Out of Sight
廚房的調味料每天都要用，需要放在方便拿取的位置；但如果全部放在檯面上，視覺上容易顯得雜亂，而且瓶身很快變得油膩，每次拿取都會令雙手沾滿油，感覺並不舒服。
面對這個問題，我把所有調味料放進一個籃中，平日收藏在櫃裏，做飯時才整籃拿出來，平日就不會看見那些雜亂無章、花花綠綠的瓶子。此外，我把調味料全部轉用可放進洗碗碟機清洗的玻璃瓶。當用完一瓶，就直接清洗，然後再補充。「清潔、實用、整齊」，一舉三得。
Seasonings are used every day in the kitchen and need to be kept within easy reach. However, when they are all left on the countertop, the space can quickly look cluttered. The bottles also become greasy, and handling them often leaves one’s hands oily—an unpleasant experience.
To address this, I place all my seasoning bottles in a basket and store it inside a cupboard, taking the whole basket out only when I cook. This way, those visually busy, mismatched bottles are no longer in sight during everyday moments. In addition, I have transferred all seasonings into dishwasher-safe glass bottles. Once a bottle is empty, I simply wash it and refill it. Cleanliness, practicality, and order—three benefits achieved in one go.
2. 讓洗手液容器靜下來 Simplifying the Look of Handwash Bottles
另一個讓空間看起來整齊的小改變，是處理洗手液瓶。我把廚房、廁所的洗手液換上好看的瓶子，或者把原有瓶子上招紙除掉，整個空間立刻顯得清爽得多。
之後再購買大包裝洗手液作補充，不但方便，也能減少塑膠廢物。
Another simple way to declutter the look of a space is by changing handwash bottles. I either use nicer bottles or remove the labels on the original bottles, which immediately makes the kitchen and bathroom look cleaner and more composed.
By buying large refill packs of handwash, I can easily top up these bottles while reducing plastic waste at the same time.
3. 讓平底鑊站起來 Let the Pans Stand
平底鑊如果一隻疊一隻地放在櫃裏，每次取用都要搬動好幾個，既麻煩又容易刮花。我改用膠籃，將平底鑊打直放置在櫃桶中，不但節省空間，每次拿取也一目了然，順手得多。
When frying pans are stacked flat in a cupboard, taking one out often means lifting several others, which is inconvenient and can cause scratches. By using plastic baskets to store pans vertically in a drawer, space is saved and each pan becomes easy to access at a glance.
這些整理方法都不複雜，也不需要添置昂貴的收納用品。它們只是透過一點點調整，讓常用的物件各得其所，視覺變得安靜，生活也自然順暢起來。
None of these ideas are complicated or require expensive storage solutions. With small adjustments, everyday objects can find their proper place, creating a calmer visual environment and a smoother daily rhythm.
