小手作，玩味日常 Three Small Crafts for Everyday Delight
手作不一定要宏大，也未必追求實用至上。有時候，一些帶點玩味的小製作，能為日常生活添上一點輕盈的節奏。以下分享三個簡單的小手作，它們或實用、或純粹好玩，但都在不經意間，為生活添上一點趣味。
Crafts do not always need to be ambitious or overtly practical. Sometimes, small and playful creations bring a lightness to everyday life. Here are three simple crafts—some useful, some purely for fun—that quietly add moments of delight.
1. 壽司小擺設 Sushi Set Miniature
偶然得到一大袋壽司造型的擦膠，打算捐出作慈善用途。捐出之前，我先挑了幾粒出來，擺成一份迷你壽司餐。沒有特別用途，只是看着那一小盆「壽司」，心情便不自覺地輕快起來。
I came across a pack of sushi-shaped erasers and planned to donate them for charity. Before doing so, I selected a few and arranged them into a miniature sushi set. It serves no particular purpose, but simply looking at that tiny ‘meal’ brings a quiet sense of joy.
2. 昆蟲旅館 Bug Hotel
這間小小的「昆蟲旅館」，原本是一件木製玩具屋裝飾。我用過期的舊茶包為它上色，再把從不同小項目中留下來的材料收集起來，重新組合，做成一個專為瓢蟲而設的小旅館。
這個手作並不精緻，卻提醒我，生活中有些剩餘物料，只要稍作整理，便能轉化為對自然友善的小空間。
This small ‘bug hotel’ started life as a wooden toy house decoration. I stained it using expired tea bags, then gathered leftover materials saved from various projects and reassembled them into a tiny shelter for ladybirds.
It is by no means a refined piece, but it reminds me that leftover materials, with a bit of care, can be transformed into small, nature-friendly spaces.
3. 「雞牌」的誕生 The Chicken Tag
我家的貓咪對罐頭食物相當挑剔，有些口味若不混入她最愛的風乾雞肉，她便完全不肯吃。為了方便我和老公之間的溝通，我用雪條棍和木衣夾做了一個「雞牌」。
早上餵貓的老公會用這個牌子標示今天的罐頭是否需要加雞；到晚上輪到我餵食時，只要看看「雞牌」是直立還是放平，便知道該如何處理剩下的半罐罐頭。久而久之，家貓還多了一個花名——「雞牌妹」！
My cat is quite particular about her food, and not all flavours of canned food meet her standards. Some require mixing with her favourite snack—dried chicken—or she will not touch them at all. To make communication between my husband and me easier, I created a ‘Chicken Tag’ using a popsicle stick and a wooden peg.
After feeding the cat in the morning, my husband uses the tag to indicate whether that day’s food needs chicken added. When I feed her in the evening, I simply check whether the tag is standing or lying down to know how to handle the remaining half can. Over time, our cat even acquired a new nickname: ‘Chicken Tag Girl’.
這些小手作或許微不足道，卻在生活中扮演着各自的位置。有些帶來方便，有些只是讓人會心一笑。對我來說，能在日常之中保留這些小小的玩心，本身已是一種珍貴的收穫。
These small crafts may seem insignificant, yet each finds its place in daily life. Some offer convenience; others simply invite a smile. For me, holding onto this sense of playfulness in everyday routines is a reward in itself.
